    • Passed millage to expand broadband internet infrastructure to every address in the city.

    • Fiber now run past over half the addresses in the city and 2GB service available for only $45/month!

  • Holland Ice Park

    • World Class Refrigerated Outdoor Public Ice Skating Facility

    • $11.5 million budget - $9.5 million from private donations, grants and federal ARPA dollars.

    • Only $2 million on local tax dollars

    • Skating Pond, Skating Ribbon, Curling Rink, Fireplaces, Skate Rental, and Hot Chocolate!

    • Ready to skate for Winter of 2025-2026!

  • Non-Motorized Transportation Plan

    • Comprehensive review of our neighborhoods and transportation corridors to find the best, cost effective ways to make walking, biking and other non-motorized transportation options safer, easier and for cost effective.

  • Blueprint for a Flourishing Neighborhoods

    • A framework and roadmap for Holland’s to help Holland’s neighborhoods thrive, making them more resilient, inclusive and help them offer an equitable opportunity for all to Holland residents to prosper.

  • Paid off Holland Energy Park Early - Saving over $40 million in interest

  • Building State of the Art Anaerobic Digester

  • New Waverly Road Fire Station - Updated Kollen Park Fire Station

    • Providin more capacity and safer living environment for our first responders.

  • Added Three New Full-Time Firefighter Positions

    • Keeping our growing community safe every day.

  • State of the Art Interactive Trainer for Our Public Safety Officers

  • New Body Cameras for Public Safety Officers

  • New Mobile Command Unit for Holland Department of Public Safety

  • New, Easy to Use Recycling Containers

  • Created Downtown Holland Social District

  • 6th Street Reconstruction - $9 million of improvement reimbursed through Brownfield redevelopment!

    • Completely rebuilt 6th Street between Columbia and River.

    • New underground infrastructure.

    • New sidewalks with snowmelt.

    • New street with snowmelt from Columbia to College.

    • Expanded snowmelt on College Avenue sidewalks.

    • 9 million dollars of investment.

    • Brownfield redevelopment tax credits paid for all of the cost!

  • New Home Energy 101 Program

  • 50 Year Municipal Capital Improvement Fund

    • We now know what maintenance we will need to do 50 years in the future.

    • We now budget funds to assure that we always “Fix it First.”

  • 20 Year Financial Forecasting Tools

    • We can better predict our financial resources to we can be good stewards or your tax dollars.

  • No Tax Rate Increases for 14 Years

    • We balance the budget every year and often end the year with a surplus for our rainy-day fund.
